THE WEEKEND AT A GLANCE
IUP women's lacrosse (0-0, 0-0 PSAC) opens the 2019 season with a pair of home weekend games against Findlay (0-1, 0-0 GMAC) and No. 17 Grand Valley State (0-0, 0-0 GLIAC). Findlay opened its season with a 17-5 loss at Indianapolis last weekend and GVSU will play its first game Friday night at Lake Erie.

NOTES
>> The Crimson Hawks were picked to finish sixth by the PSAC Preseason Coaches' Poll. Defending conference champion West Chester received 10 of the 13 first place votes to pace the field, East Stroudsburg was picked second.
>> This weekend will see the debut of new IUP head coach Brenna Gallagher '16. Gallagher returns to her alma mater after leading Misericordia to a 12-9 record and conference tournament runner-up finish a year ago.
>> The Crimson Hawks return high-scoring senior duo Ally Burrows and Adriana Greco, who combined for 116 goals and 145 points a year ago. Both earned All-PSAC and All-Atlantic Region honors.
>> Including Burrows and Greco, six of IUP's top eight scorers from last year return. Fellow seniors Lauren Robinson (20 assists), Bri Chavis (18 goals) and Katie Martyn (29 points) are joined by sophomore Victoria Kerkovich (11 goals).
>> Molly Gallagher also returns after earning all-region honors as a defender last season. She led the team with 25 caused turnovers and picked up 29 ground balls.
>> Young but experienced goalie Lauren Piecknick played in every minute of all 15 games as a true freshman last year.
