THE GAME AT A GLANCE
The No. 25 IUP women's lacrosse team (5-5, 3-3 PSAC) returns to action with a game against the Gannon Lady Knights (2-8, 0-6 PSAC) this Wednesday afternoon. Game time is set for 4 p.m. The Crimson Hawks will be looking to build on the momentum of their recent upset victory over the No. 9 East Stroudsburg Warriors this past Saturday afternoon. The Crimson Hawks scored a 12-10 win over the Warriors in that game, while the Lady Knights had less success in their match with a nationally ranked team, falling 21-3 to No. 7 West Chester on Saturday.

>> Three Crimson Hawks notched multiple goals in Saturday's victory for IUP.
>> Shannon Hartigan set the tone for the IUP offense on Saturday notching 2 goals and 4 assists for a total of 6 points in the game.
>> Adriana Greco was the main goal scorer for IUP with 3 goals against East Stroudsburg, adding 2 assists as well in the game for a total of 5 points.
>> Katie Martyn also scored multiple goals for the Crimson Hawks, contributing 2 goals and 1 assist to the IUP cause.
>> The Crimson Hawks' leading scorer Ally Burrows also scored on Saturday, keeping alive her 10 game scoring streak.
>> IUP's victory over East Stroudsburg on Saturday was the first time that the Crimson Hawks had prevailed over the Warriors since 2016.
>> The Crimson Hawks upset win on Saturday was also the first time that IUP had defeated a nationally ranked opponent in over two years, with their most recent victory coming against then No. 16 Lock Haven in 2017.

>> On the defensive side, Gannon goalkeeper Erin Renwick currently ranks fourth in the PSAC in saves per game, making an average of 10.50 stops per match.
>> Gannon is one of the lower scoring teams in the conference, as they currently rank 11th in both total goals scored and goals per game.
>> The Crimson Hawks are the PSAC's fifth highest scoring team with 13.30 goals per game.
>> In addition to leading the IUP offense, Ally Burrows is also one of the top attackers in the PSAC. She currently ranks sixth in the conference in goals per game (3.50) and fifth in total goals scored (35).
>> Goalkeeper Carly Mansur also ranks high on the PSAC defending charts, as her .503 save percentage is the third best mark in the league.
>> IUP is 7-2 when facing the Lady Knights in their past 9 matchups including a 20-7 victory for the Crimson Hawks last year.
