The IUP field hockey team (4-2, 0-0 PSAC) looks to rebound from a tough weekend with games at Mercyhurst and home to #3 East Stroudsburg this week. The Crimson Hawks will play in Erie Wednesday at 4 p.m. and host the undefeated Warriors Saturday at 1 p.m. at Miller Stadium. The Mercyhurst matchup is the last non-counting conference game on the schedule before the official PSAC-opener Saturday. IUP went 1-2 last week as the 10th-ranked team in the nation, defeating Seton Hill 1-0 before falling to #2 West Chester 5-0 and Newberry 2-0.
