THE GAME AT A GLANCE
No. 25-ranked IUP women's lacrosse (0-0, 0-0 PSAC West) opens its 2020 season Saturday with a road trip to Shippensburg. Opening draw is set for 1 p.m. This won't be the first action of the season for the Raiders, who opened with a 15-6 win over Georgian Court Tuesday.

NOTES
>> The Crimson Hawks opened the year at No. 25 in the IWLCA Division II preseason poll announced in January. It's the fifth time in the last seven seasons that IUP has been ranked in the preseason poll, the first under second year head coach Brenna Gallagher '16.
>> The Crimson Hawks received two first place votes and was picked to finish third in the division PSAC preseason coaches' poll released last week.
>> IUP advanced to the PSAC tournament for the seventh time in eight seasons in 2019, finishing with a 10-7 overall record.
>> The Hawks return seven starters and five of their top eight scorers from last season's playoff team.
>>  IUP has won each off its last two season openers, including a 17-5 decision over Findlay last year.
>> The Crimson Hawks are 11-16 all-time against Shippensburg, but have won eight straight over the Raiders. IUP won last year's matchup 21-11 in Shippensburg with Shannon Hartigan scoring 9 points (6 goals, 3 assists).

NEW LOOK PSAC
>> With the conference's addition of Shepherd University, the PSAC has split it's women's lacrosse teams into East and West Divisions.
>> IUP will play the six other teams in its division twice in a home-and-home series, with those games counting towards its conference record. Any games against teams from the PSAC East will be "out-of-conference" games.
>> The top four teams in each division at the end of the regular season advance to the PSAC tournament.
