YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Four Crimson Hawks put up qualifying times on the second day of Youngstown State's YSU Mid-Major Invitational on Saturday at the Watson and Tressel Training Site.
The meet was IUP track & field's second of the indoor season and first since December 3, also at Youngstown State.
Kendall Branan had the top finish of the day, coming in second in the men's 800 meters with a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) meet qualifying time of 1:54.18.
Two more IUP men just missed out on PSAC qualifying times -
Noah Shannon-Hatchett and
Addison Singleton. Shannon-Hatchett ran 7.14 seconds in the 60 meters, just .04 off a qualifying mark, finishing 16th overall. Singleton posted a time of 8.95 in the 60 hurdles, 0.15 seconds away and in 19th overall.
On the women's side, three Hawks posted PSAC marks with two more just falling short.
Cahsia Page had the women's top finish, coming in fourth in the 60 meters with a qualifying time of 7.86 seconds.
Paige Wess had an eighth place finish in the 800 meters with a time of 2:22.63 while
Cassidy Kline just missed in the 400 meters with a time of 1:00.99.
In field events,
Hailey Dodson had a season-best throw of 12.96 meters in the shot put, finishing fifth and hitting a PSAC mark.
Sarah Isenberg missed qualifying in the high jump by 0.06 meters, clearing a heigh of 1.51 meters.

The Crimson Hawks return on Saturday, February 5 to compete in Mount Union's Jim Wuske Invitational in Ohio.
