SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. — Senior Bryna Kelly brought home a PSAC championship for IUP on Day 2 of the outdoor championships, winning the women's 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.91 seconds.
Kelly, who also won the event during the indoor championships, improved on her conference-leading time by two-tenths of a second to capture gold.
Stella Kuntz also turned in a strong performance for the Crimson Hawks, finishing second in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:28.99.
In the women's long jump, IUP had two top-10 finishers. Nataiah Robertson placed fifth, while Jahnaya Wimberley finished ninth.
Kayla Quinones added another top-10 finish for IUP in the women's 100-meter hurdles, placing ninth with a time of 14.80 seconds.
In the preliminary heats of the women's 400-meter hurdles, Bella Brozeski posted the second-fastest time across all heats, finishing in 1:02.55 to position herself well for the finals.
Senior Renee Simmonds, who entered the day leading the women's heptathlon standings, ultimately finished fifth overall.
The PSAC Outdoor Championships conclude Saturday at Shippensburg.
