INDIANA, Pa. - IUP athletes combined for seven victories and nine conference qualifying marks as the Crimson Hawks hosted the Ed Fry Invitational at Miller Stadium on Saturday.
Cahsia Page and
Hailey Dodson each won two individual events. Page took top honors and hit PSAC qualifying marks with season-bests in the 100 meters (12.29) and 200 meters (25.82). Dodson won the shot put with a PSAC distance of 13.48 meters and won the discus with a mark of 32.92 meters.
A pair of IUP women's high jumpers also hit PSAC qualifying heights -
Amanda Gwinn and
Sarah Isenberg each cleared 1.60 meters.
On the men's side,
Kendall Branan won both the 800 meters (1:54.19) and ran the anchor leg of the winning 4x400 relay (3:24.87). Also running with him were
Justin Egizio,
Noah Shannon-Hatchett, and
Trenton Jubin.
Egizio and Shannon-Hatchett each hit individual PSAC times - Egizio in the 400 meters with a time of 50.17 and Shannon-Hatchett in the 100 metes at 10.98 seconds.
Andrew Moyer won the 10K with a time of 3:41.94 and
Jayden Thomas hit a PSAC height in the high jump at 1.85 meters.
