YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – IUP indoor track & field picked up five total Pennsylvanian State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifying standards as part of another successful outing on Saturday in the final day of competition at the Youngstown State Mid-Major Invitational.
Kendall Branan led the way for the Hawks with a stellar day, winning the 800m with a 1:51.56. Branan earned a PSAC and NCAA Provisional mark with his victory in the 800, running the sixth fastest time in the nation.
Branan anchored the men's 4x400 relay, which finished third with a 3:34.84.
Evan Weaver posted a PSAC time in the mile (4:27.44), while
Jayden Thomas added a PSAC mark in the high jump with his sixth-place finish (1.94m).
Brynna Kelly was eighth in the 60m hurdles for the IUP women's team, notching a PSAC standard with a 9.42.
Cahsia Page continued her strong weekend with a PSAC time in the 200m (26.16), good for 14
th overall.
