LEWISBURG, Pa. – IUP indoor track & field had three second place finishes, earning all-conference honors on the final day of the 2023 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships at Bucknell.
Kendall Branan earned All-PSAC honors in the 800m (1:54.07), finishing behind Shippensburg's Drew Dailey, who set the meet record while earning medalist honors.
Justin Egizio posted an All-PSAC finish in the 400m, finishing second in 49.73.
Egizio and Branan joined
Owen Putt and
Lawrence Anderson for second in the 4x400 relay with a 3:23.54.
Cassidy Kline just missed out on the top five in the women's 400m with an impressive race, notching sixth overall in 59.53.
Brynna Kelly, who qualified for the finals of the 60m hurdles on Saturday, recording seventh on Sunday with her time of 9.32.
Evan Weaver logged a top-10 finish in the mile with a 4:24.74, good for ninth overall for the Hawks. Marco Cardona was also ninth in the 3000m behind an 8:54.46.
Sarah Isenberg finished in fifth in the women's high jump (1.57), while
Jayden Thomas logged eighth in the men's high jump (1.88).
Hailey Dodson had another strong showing at the conference championships in 2023, posting fifth in the shot put with a heave of 12.97m.
IUP finished ninth in the men's team standings and 13th in the women's team standings.
