LEWISBURG, Pa. – With the majority of IUP's events at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic taking place tomorrow, the Crimson Hawks got action started with the 1500m on Saturday.
IUP had six competitors in the 1500m in a loaded field of competition at one of the largest meets in the nation.
Evan Weaver paced IUP with a 64th place time in 4:05.74 with
Joel Beckwith following in 70th (4:06.87).
Sam Moffat finished eight in his heat and 78th overall with
Dan Gibney nabbing 10th in the same heat and 87th overall.
Weaver and
Marco Cardone raced in the fifth heat for IUP, while
Adam Lechleitner also raced in the second heat alongside Beckwith.
