LEWISBURG, Pa. – The IUP indoor track & field program returned to Bucknell for the second time this season, wrapping up action at the two-day Bison Open on Friday and Saturday.
Overall, IUP posted seven PSAC qualifying standards and eight top-five finishes across the meet.
Kendall Branan won the 500m (1:06.01) before joining
Trenton Jubin,
Owen Putt and
Justin Egizio for first in the 4x400 relay (3:25.97).
Hedda Folkhage and
Bryna Kelly posted PSAC qualifying standards in the 60m hurdles, each qualifying for the finals. Kelly reached another qualifying standard, racing to sixth (9.38).
Renee Simmonds set several personal bests in the pentathlon, winning the shot put portion of the event with a mark of 11.66m.
Mike Formica and
SahBri Hill posted runner-up finishes in their events, each logging PSAC standards in the process. Formica raced to a 15:16.79 in the 5,000m, while Hill posted a 13.86m in the triple jump.
Lucas Pajak (6th; 15:45.33) and
Andrew Moyer (9
th; 16:08.21) posted top-10 finishes for the IUP distance group in the 5,000m behind Formica.
Sterlene Scott qualified for the finals of the 60m race for the Crimson Hawk women, while
Cassidy Kline added a sixth-place finish in the 500m (1:23.25).
Emma Laughlin followed closely behind in ninth overall in the prelims.
