LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The IUP women's lacrosse program was tabbed fourth in the 2025 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West preseason coaches' poll, released on Thursday afternoon.
Seton Hill claimed first place with four first place votes, Slippery Rock took second with two first place votes, and Lock Haven rounded out the top three.
In the PSAC East, West Chester earned first place with five first place votes, Kutztown placed second, and East Stroudsburg placed third, each receiving one first place vote.
The Crimson Hawks open the 2025 season on Sunday, February 23 at Miller Stadium against Grand Valley State at 1:00 p.m.
Last Season
IUP went 7-10 last season, posting a 6-6 record in conference action.
Under head coach
Brenna Gallagher Roan (61-46 at IUP), five players earned All-PSAC honors, one with First Team and four with Second Team. Two players were selected to the IWLCA All-Region Second Team.

IUP returns with key players across the field along with plenty of young talent expected to make an impact.
Two-time All-PSAC West selection
Kathryn Burke (29A, 61Pts) is back, joined by fellow senior
Brenna Whiteside and juniors
Leah Moyer (22G) and
Maggie Boyle. Burke ranked ninth in the PSAC in assists.
On defense,
Rachel Knight (28CT) and Deven Nee return, along with midfielders Emma Mass (30DC, 24G) and
Macenzie Haragos. Knight and Mass were All-PSAC Second Team selections for the second time. Mass finished the 2024 season with a kick as she scored goals in each of the final six games.
In the cage, junior
Maddy Schramm and sophomore
Mia Courtalis return. Schramm started 14 of 17 games and posted 100 saves (.402). Courtalis saw action in 11 games and posted 30 saves (.380).
