INDIANA, Pa. – IUP track and field hosted the Ed Fry Invitational on Saturday at Miller Stadium where they celebrated the 2025 senior class.
In the men's 100m, Demetrius Carter placed 11th with a time of 11.26. In the women's 100m,
Emma Laughlin (4th; 12.61) and
Sterlene Scott (6th; 12.72) placed in the top 10. Steve Combray placed sixth (15.89) in the 110m hurdles while
Taimir Lobban followed in seventh (16.42).
In the men's 400m,
George Jennings ran a personal best and placed sixth (52.35).
Cahsia Page placed fifth on the women's side with a time of 59.22.
Alex Amador ran the men's 800m and placed fourth with a time of 2:01.34. For the women,
Grace Bogacz placed fifth (2:33.60).
IUP placed three in the top 10 of the men's 1500m, with Gabe Pacyna leading the way in fourth (4:12.56). In the women's 1500m,
Hannah Weaver pushed and slotted eighth with a time of 5:15.89.
Abby Douglas placed eighth and
Katie McCormick placed 11th, both running personal bests.
IUP placed three in the top five of the men's 5000m.
Dan Gibney led the way with a first place finish (15:23.67),
Tom Brady placed third (16:02.96; PR), and
Ian Rauber placed fourth (16:08.76; PR).
In the men's high jump,
Adam Wood placed second (1.85m). Elijah Lingenfelter placed second (48.00m) in the javelin throw while
Kaylla Williams on the women's side placed first (41.38m).
Matthew Cusatis jumped a personal best in the long jump, he placed third with a jump of 6.78m.
Nataiah Robertson placed first in the long jump (5.42m) and Jahnaya Trotter-Wimberly placed first in the triple jump (9.98m).
The women's 4x100m relay placed second (49.54), consisting of the relay was Scott, Kelly, Laughlin, and Page.

IUP will head out to both the Carnegie Mellon Invite (Pittsburgh, Pa.) and the Tim Weaver Invite (West Liberty, W.Va.) on Friday for a two day event.
