WEST CHESTER, Pa. – John Olsen, Trevor Todd and Alex Swinnerton secured individual finishes inside the top 10 for the IUP men's golf team, highlighting the 2025 Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational hosted by West Chester and Penn Oaks Golf Club this week. IUP posted a combined team mark of 308 in the second round, the lowest in the 12-team field, while finishing third at the 36-hole event. 
 
Another challenging day on the par-71 course, IUP had four of its six golfers climb the individual leaderboard. Wilmington's Pablo Quintero took home medalist honors his victory in a playoff hole against Djaia Darrason (St. Thomas Aquinas). 
 
IUP (612) finished two shots behind first-place Wilmington (Del.) in the team standings. St. Thomas Aquinas finished second overall behind a two-round mark of 611, part of a three-team race that spanned the final 18 holes. 
 
Olsen secured his first collegiate top-five finish on Tuesday, tying for third with identical rounds of 75. He rose nine spots up the leaderboard on Tuesday, posting three birdies over 36 holes. 
 
Todd added his first collegiate finish among the top 10 with a combined mark of 153, good for a tie for seventh place. Swinnerton also tied for seventh place individually after rounds of 74 and 79, his 17th collegiate top-10 finish. 
 
Ben De Castro carded a two-round total of 156, which tied for 12th place. Cameron Gerue (T42nd) and Guillermo Salazar (T47th) closed out the Crimson Hawk lineup.
