LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Crimson Hawk men's cross country team closed out the fall 2024 season with a third-place finish in the PSAC Championships, with two runners finishing in the top ten. One of those runners, senior
Mike Formica, will look to pace Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) to another top-five finish in the conference championships.
As released by the PSAC on Wednesday, the IUP men are slated to finish sixth in the PSAC standings, as voted on by the coaches of the conference. Formica, who was First Team All-PSAC the last two seasons, as well as All-Region in 2024, had an 8K best of 24:53.8 and a 10K best of 31:01.6.
Another Crimson Hawk to look out for is fellow Senior,
Tom Brady. Brady set a career-best in the 6K last season, running the course in 20:37.7. He finished in the top 50 in the PSAC Championship Meet, and is poised for a big season in Indiana, Pa.
