IUP enters as the three seed after finishing with a 10-2 record in the conference while Bloomsburg is the sixth seed with a 7-5 mark. It'll be a rematch of IUP's regular season finale, which was won by the Crimson Hawks 14-9 back on April 23.
ALL-TIME SERIESBloomsburg owns the all-time series lead with a record of 17-3, although the Crimson Hawks have won each of the last three games. In addition to the 14-9 win in the regular season, IUP was victorious 13-10 in 2013 and 18-17 in overtime in 2012.
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURGThe Huskies finished their season with an overall record of 9-7 and that 7-5 record in the conference. Their highlight win came on March 22 when they upset then-No. 6 West Chester 15-14 at home. That win was in the midst of a five-game winning streak as they started the season with a 4-0 conference record and climbed to No. 15 in the nation. However, Bloomsburg went on to lose three of its next four games and won only three of its final eight contests entering the postseason.
Julie Falk leads the team with 44 goals and 67 points and Marisa Moley is the team leader with 28 assists. Abbey Burnett started all 16 games in the net for Bloomsburg, boasting a 9.46 goals against average and a .421 save percentage.
BREAKING RECORDSThe Crimson Hawks boast a pair of new single season record holders in So. M
Drew Hayden (Gibsonia/Pine Richland) and So. A
Amy Weinberg (Clarksville, MD/Atholton). Hayden now owns the goal scoring record with 61 this season, breaking
Alexa Lodovici (Voorhees, NJ/Eastern Regional)'s record of 55 from last year. Weinberg has 49 assists on the season, breaking the old record of 46, which was held by Becca Vogt (2011) and Lodovici (2013). Weinberg also broke the IUP and PSAC record with 11 assists against East Stroudsburg on April 5.
SCORING IN BUNCHESIUP boasts one of the top offensive units in the nation, ranking fourth with 17.13 goals per game. Six different players have scored at least 20 goals this season, including Hayden with 61, Fr. A
Kim Hooven (Malvern/Great Valley) with 44, and So. A
Brittney Palardy (Perry Hall, MD/Perry Hall) with 42. As a team, the Crimson Hawks have scored 18 goals in a game 18 times, with a season-high 27 coming against East Stroudsburg.

Taylor Norwood (Chantilly, VA/Chantilly) leads an IUP defense that is second in Division II with 12.44 caused turnovers per game and ranks fifth in the PSAC with 156 goals given up (9.75 per game). The Crimson Hawks have given up under 10 goals in 10 of their 16 games, with a season-low three to Kutztown.
Individually, Norwood ranks in the top 10 in the conference in three categories, including second (and fourth in the NCAA) with 2.50 caused turnovers per game. Norwood is ninth with 2.75 ground balls per game and is also seventh with 4.19 draw controls per contest.
UP NEXTWith a win on Tuesday, the Crimson Hawks would advance to the PSAC semifinals to play second-seeded Mercyhurst on Friday. By virtue of holding the No. 1 seed in the tournament, Lock Haven will serve as the host site for both the semifinals and championship game, which will take place on Saturday.
