CHARLESTON, W.Va. –
Joshua Bartley (Valencia, Pa./Mars) and
Matt Cocorikis (Monroe Twp., N.J./Monroe Twp.) tied for 14th overall with an eight-over 152, leading IUP men's golf to a fifth place finish at Charleston's Glade Springs Intercollegiate Championship, which was cut short 18 holes due to inclement weather and was decided after all teams had finished Monday's first 36 holes.
The Crimson Hawks finished with a 37-over 613 as a team, only two strokes back of third place which was controlled by California (Pa.) and Millersville, and thus 22 back of tournament host and winner Charleston, which finished with a 15-over 591.

Bartley entered the second round in a tie for 25th with a five-over 77, shooting a three-over 75 in round two, whereas Cocorikis entered in a tie for 50th with an eight-over 80, and then proceeded to shoot an even par 72 in the second round.
Bartley and Cocorikis were two of three Crimson Hawks who finished in the top 25 individually as
Michael Hoare (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) finished 21st. Hoare finished with a nine-over 153 (82-71) and the best individual round for the Crimson Hawks with a one-under 71.
Also golfing for IUP was
Jeremy Eckenrode (Ebensburg, Pa./Central Cambria), who tied for 34
th with a 12-over 156 (78-78); Nathan Guerrini, who tied for 61st with a 17-over 161 (82-79);
Carter Snowden (Kitchener, ON, Canada/Huron Heights), who tied for 66th with a 19-over 163 (86-77); and
Tyler Erb (Toronto, ON, Canada/Etobicoke Collegiate Institute), who finished tied for 91st out of 100 with a 32-over 176 (87-89).
