NORMAN, Okla. - IUP senior golfer
Jack Buccigross was named to the 2022 NCAA Division II PING All-Atlantic Region squad in a release by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Monday afternoon.
This marks Buccigross' fourth straight all-region honor, joining Zack Kempa and Max Kirsch as the only IUP golfers in program history to receive regional honors four times in a career.
Buccigross led all IUP golfers with a 73.9 stroke average in 10 events this year. He finished in the top-20 in seven of those events, including six top-10s and an individual win at West Chester's Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational in April.
He finished the season as the 11th-ranked golfer in the region according to GolfStat after tying or eighth overall at the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Region Championship at Ravenwood. He shot a 4-over 220 at the Championship, including a 2-under 70 in the second round .
This is the 14th straight season IUP has put at least one golfer on the all-region team.
