LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – IUP men's golfer
Shaun Fedor was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Athlete of the Week, announced by the league on Wednesday afternoon.
Fedor jumped one spot at the USCB Oldfield Classic to tied for 11th overall after an even-par 72 in his final round. Fedor was one of two players in the field to score under par on par three holes, going -3 for the tournament.
Fedor recorded his sixth top-15 finish of the 2023-24 season with consecutive round scores of 71, 76 and 72 earlier this week in South Carolina. Among the highlights for the event was a rare hole in one for Fedor, coming on the par-three 13th hole (193 yards) in the opening round.
IUP has earned the PSAC Men's Golf Athlete of the Week honor in consecutive weeks since returning to the course for the spring season.
Alex Swinnerton won his fifth weekly award from the PSAC last Wednesday.
The Crimson Hawks are back in action on April 8-9 for The Trojan, hosted by Mount Olive at Walnut Creek CC.
