Reustle headlines five All-PSAC honorees for IUP women’s lacrosse

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The IUP women's lacrosse program had five total All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) selections as the league announced its all-conference teams and major award winners on Wednesday afternoon.
 
Sarah Reustle picked up her third career All-PSAC West First Team award in 2024 and fourth overall all-conference selection. Reustle headlined the all-conference selections for IUP in 2024 as just the second player in program history (Taylor Norwood) with four career all-conference honors.
 
Kathryn Burke, Chantal Jimenez, Emme Mass and Rachel Knight were tabbed second team All-PSAC West selections for the Crimson Hawks.
 
Skylar Orlowski (Seton Hill), Makayla Kinter (Seton Hill), Makayla Kelly (Lock Haven) and Taryn Burkholder (Slippery Rock) were named the PSAC West major award winners for 2024. The full all-conference breakdown can be found below.
 
Reustle has notched All-PSAC First Team honors in 20202, 2023 and 2024. She capped a storied career for the Crimson Hawks this season with a well-rounded 26 goals, 32 points, 26 ground balls, 28 caused turnovers and 45 draw controls.
 
In 54 career games, Reustle posted 94 goals (14th in IUP history), 25 assists, 119 points, 128 ground balls (sixth in IUP history), 89 caused turnovers (third in IUP history) and 205 draw controls (fifth in IUP history).
 
Burke picks up her second career All-PSAC honor in 2024 as a second team selection. She finished the 2024 regular season eighth in the PSAC in assists (29), 10th in assists/game (1.71) and 20th in points (51). In three seasons, Burke boasts 71 goals, 57 assists (seventh in IUP history), 128 points, 50 ground balls and 24 caused turnovers.
 
Jimenez had a career season in 2024 with 44 goals (11th in the PSAC), 18 assists, 62 points, 28 ground balls, 17 caused turnovers and 90 draw controls (fifth in IUP history). Jimenez surpassed the IUP draw control record of 345 held by Katie Martyn in her final collegiate game on May 4 against Lock Haven.
 
Earning her second All-PSAC West Second Team honor, Jimenez finishes her IUP tenure with 123 goals (eighth in IUP history), 35 assists, 158 points (10th in IUP history, 85 ground balls, 56 caused turnovers and program record 352 draw controls.
 
Mass is a two-time All-PSAC Second Team honoree, picking up recognition in 2022 and 2024. She finished with 30 points on 24 goals and six assists, adding 30 draw controls, 19 ground balls and 15 caused turnovers.
 
Mass saw an uptick in production down the stretch run of the season, scoring in each of the final six games. She has 67 goals, 15 assists, 82 points, 93 draw controls, 55 ground balls and 40 caused turnovers through three seasons as a starter for the Crimson Hawks.
 
Knight took another step forward in 2024 as a sophomore, named All-PSAC West Second Team for the second consecutive season. She finished second on the team with 25 caused turnovers, adding 24 ground balls in 27 games.
 
Knight has played in all 35 games for IUP over the past two seasons, notching 56 career ground balls and 50 caused turnovers.
