LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – IUP junior Alex Swinnerton was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Men's Golf Athlete of the Week, the league announced Thursday.

For the second time this spring and ninth overall throughout his collegiate career, Swinnerton was named the PSAC Men's Golf Athlete of the Week.

IUP men's golf hosted the 60th annual Cecil C. Spadafora Invitational and tied for second place with California (Pa.) - 616. Swinnerton secured his 13th individual finish inside the top five with his second place finish. 

Through the first round, Swinnerton shot four over and three over in the second round. He tied for second, just one stroke behind the individual medalist.
