IUP Women’s Lacrosse Picked Fourth in the Wast in PSAC Preseason Poll

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. — The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference released its final spring preseason poll Thursday, with Indiana (Pa.) selected to finish fourth in the PSAC West women's lacrosse standings.

The Crimson Hawks finished fourth in the conference last season with a 4-6 PSAC record and return several key contributors entering the 2026 campaign.

Senior defender Devon Nee earned all-region honors last season after starting 16 of 17 games. She collected 43 ground balls, caused 30 turnovers and recorded 72 draw controls.

Fellow senior and three-time All-PSAC nominee, Rachel Knight also anchors the back line for the Crimson Hawks. Knight,a  second team selection last season, started all 17 games for IUP. She ranks fifth in career caused turnovers and recorded 35 ground balls and caused 27 turnovers.

Sophomore defender Averie Moul was named second-team All-PSAC after starting 17 games. She finished with 23 caused turnovers, 17 ground balls and two draw controls.

IUP also returns experienced midfielders Macenzie Haragos and Alexi Crosby, along with attacking options Julia Steere, Leah Moyer and Maggie Boyle. The Crimson Hawks will look to build on last season's offensive output, when they scored 200 goals.

IUP opens the 2026 season Feb. 21 at Kutztown. The home opener at Miller Stadium is scheduled for Feb. 25 against East Stroudsburg.
