Senior guard Anthony Glover, Jr. has been named an IUP Athlete of the Week, which was announced by the sports information office on Monday, Jan. 15.
Glover's hot hand continued, posting a spectacular shooting week by averaging 23.0 points with a field goal percentage of 55.0 (22-of-40). The senior guard shot 52.9 percent (9-of-17) from 3-point range and converted 16-of-16 from the foul line during a 2-1 week for IUP.
A career milestone highlighted his week, going over 1,000 points in his three seasons at IUP during the Crimson Hawks' 89-85 win over Slippery Rock. Glover scored a career-high 34 points in the win, including a 12-of-12 performance from the foul line.
This is Glover's third career IUP weekly honor.
